The English Heritage Picnic Concerts are the original
traditional summer picnic concerts and have given pleasure
and delight to millions of happy concert goers over
their fifty-five year history.
The concerts take place in the idyllic grounds of some
of England’s finest
stately homes, where you can picnic with friends and family while listening to
thrilling world-class artists as the sun goes down. It’s a perfect summer’s
evening with a perfect finish: all concerts end with a spectacular fireworks
display.
You can come to the concert with or without picnics, as a wide range of food
and drink is available to buy on site. Arrive early to be sure to get your preferred
spot.
In 2007 concerts will be taking place at Marble Hill in Twickenham, Audley End
in Saffron Walden, Essex, and Battle Abbey in Hastings. The English Heritage
Picnic Concerts are supported by Jacques from Strongbow.
