We have great pleasure in inviting you to the 2002 Season of 'Music on a Summer Evening' at the historic settings of Kenwood Lakeside, Marble Hill House and Audley End. This ever popular series of picnic concerts have been running for over 50 years and are firmly established as part of the cultural calendar. The fantastic line up of artists will appeal to all musical tastes, from popular classics to grand opera and from musicals to jazz.

Highlights for the season include an opera gala with Montserrat Caballé; the return of jazz legends Humphrey Lyttelton, Acker Bilk and Kenny Ball; a debut performance by the legendary Jools Holland & his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra; the traditional flag waving at the 'Last Night'; and a musical spectacular with Michael Ball.

The stunning settings for the concerts combined with the superb line up of first class artists, a relaxed picnic atmosphere and a spectacular firework extravaganza are the unique ingredients for a magical and memorable evening.
