How do you provide for disabled concertgoers?

Please see our disabled access page

What happens if it rains?

The concerts will take place in almost all weather conditions. Occasionally, inclement weather can disrupt an open-air event. Any decision to cancel a concert will be taken at the advertised start time. No refunds will be made if a concert starts but is later abandoned.

Can I take my own food and drink to the concerts?

Absolutely; you can take your own picnic which can include alcohol, glass and cutlery. Please note that at Kenwood you cannot take your own furniture to use, but at Audley End you can. Barbecues are not allowed at either venue. There will be a selection of food and drink retailers on site at each concert venue, including a licensed bar.

What times do the concerts finish?

At both venues the standard time for concerts to finish is 10pm. Please note that occasionally certain programmes may overrun slightly.

Is there a pick up/drop off point at each venue?

At Kenwood the best place for concertgoers to be picked up/dropped off is East Lodge, on Hampstead Lane. At Audley End the Lion Gate of the property is most appropriate. Kenwood concertgoers are advised to use public transport wherever possible; there are shuttle buses and public bus services between the nearby tube stations and Kenwood House; please see the Kenwood venue information page for more information.

Can I book a gazebo space at Audley End?

At Audley End it is not possible to pre-book a gazebo space this year. However there is space around the perimeter of the concert arena where concertgoers are welcome to put up their own gazebos. This space is allocated on a first-come first-served basis. We recommend that you arrive as early as possible in order to secure these spaces.

Can you explain the different ticket types at Kenwood?

There is a block of deckchairs located closest to the stage at Kenwood, these are pre-allocated and each deckchair has a specific number. Picnic Area tickets refer to grass seating at the concerts, where you can take along a rug and find a nice spot to watch the concert from. The Picnic Area at Kenwood is located behind the deckchair block.

Can I take a train from London to Audley End?

Audley End station is regularly served by trains from London Liverpool Street, the journey time lasts approximately one hour. Please check www.nationalrail.co.uk before booking. It is advised that you take a taxi between the station and the venue (approx 5 minute journey).

Can you recommend anywhere to stay around Audley End?

There are a variety of places to stay around Saffron Walden (the town nearest Audley End) – please visit www.visitsaffronwalden.gov.uk for more information
